Description

The cooling power of the whisper fan is now available for the Playstation 3. Sony originally included 19 bladed fans in its original Japanese production, but when production started in China there was a switch to a 15 bladed fan of the same type. These fans had lower CFM (cubic feet per minute of air moved) and many people reported that they could make your Playstation run very hot and loud.

This fan is a direct replacement for 15 bladed fans. The fan is quieter by several decibels, runs slower (in RPM) creating less high pitched vibration noise.

	So far the fan is doing exactly what i need it to do..... but it is by no means a "WHISPER" fan! When you turn the playstation on it sounds like a jet is taking off.

	PS 3 Upgrade
	Aside from the installation of this into the ps3, this is an awsome upgrade. You can not even hear the fan at all. This fan moves a lot more air from the feel of it. I have not "tested" this besides feeling the difference in the output. If you plan on replacing the thermal compound or just taking your ps3 apart for "spring cleaning" take the time to replace your oem fan with this one!

	A must swap!
	Does exactly what it's intended to do; Keep your system cool and quite. In comparison to the stock fan, it's like going from a combustion engine to electric. very efficient and will make your system last a lot longer.
